A Tragic Love Story of Jayaprana and Layonsari

This is a love story which is really famous in Bali. I always curious about this story because I heard this story is true. It happened in the past. But I still did not believed it till I went to their grave. The place is so amazing. Even though it is a grave, the view is so amazing. I will make an article about it once I have a chance to go there again and take some picture to make my article look better. Ok, lets go back to the story!

He was well-known as a child who is really humble, smart  and also handsome that why the King of Kalianget adopted him as his son.  The King really love Jayaprana just like his own son. Time by time passed, Jayaprana grew to be a more handsome and wiser. Then, The King asked him to pick one of a lady in the palace or outside the palace to be his wife. At the first, Jayaprana refused The King order. He said that he was to young to get marry. But then, he agreed because the King kept asking about married stuff to him. The next day, he went to outside the palace to find a girl to marry. He arrived in a market.  In the market, he saw a really beautiful girl named Layonsari, a daughter of Jero Bendesa (one of a leader in a village) in Sekar village. He seem to be smitten with her.
