Golden Mount Temple in Bangkok, Thailand
Golden Mount Temple in Bangkok, Thailand

Hi guys! long time no writing. I miss to sharing information about beautiful temple for you. Today I will tell you my favorite temple in Bangkok, Thailand. So, I was in Bangkok on December, 1st until 5th . I was so happy because I went to a lot of beautiful temples in Bangkok. And the one that I tell you now is my favorite one. All the temple in Bangkok are beautiful though but I will always remember this temple. I think it was because of my friend, So one of my friend was not praying when were praying inside the temple.

When we finished praying, We could not find her. We tried to not panic and tried to find her by went upstairs and downstairs three times! We were so tired. At that time, we still could not find her. Because of that, we started to panic. We asked the people around the temple and showed her picture but nobody knows where she was. So we went to the information center and asked the staff for help. I mean maybe they have speaker inside the temple, so it will be easier for us to find her. But the staff said they have no speaker and tell us to wait for her downstairs. So we did. I even almost crying. I am scared of her family. Maybe they will blame me if she lost. Because the one who bring her to Bangkok was me. I'll feel sorry for that.

When we were waiting for her. I even thought about ghosts maybe hid her. Because I read an article before that this place in the late 18th century, was served as the capital's crematorium and the dumping ground for some 60.000 plague victims. When I told my friend about the plague victims that I read before, she also have the same thought as me. We were waiting on a bench downstairs with worried feeling. Around 30 minutes, she finally went downstairs. I still remember the feeling that time, we were angry at her but at the same time we were happy she was come back.

Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan  (Thaiวัดสระเกศราชวรมหาวิหาร) is usually shortened to Wat Saket is a Buddhist temple in  Pom Prap Sattru Phai district, BangkokThailand. The temple dates back to the Ayutthaya era. It was known as Wat Sakae before. When Bangkok became the capital, King Rama I renovated the temple and gave it its present name. To enter this temple we need to pay for the ticket. It's 50 Baht. After you enter this temple, you will find a big gong and so many bells through the way to get the main temple. We saw the Thailand people rang all the bell before praying so we followed them. We also rang the gong. I just got the information that after you rang the gong three times you can make a wish. I forgot how many times I rang the Gong.  And I didn't know it yet that time. But it was okay. I had fun that time though.

We need to walk around 300s stairs to get there but it was fun when you see around the temple. A lot of big threes that make the temple look so beautiful. The air is also so clean and fresh. And also just an information, It's not  like the others temple in Bangkok. You can use your shoes inside the temple. There are a lot of Buddha statues inside the temple. After I prayed, I also got my fortune telling paper here. Luckily I got the good one. Thanks Buddha :). And also, Don't forget after you pray, you need to stick a golden paper on Buddha Statue. The golden paper was covered by a grayish paper.

When I finished praying, I go to upstairs. there is an open place without roof. I don't know what will happen when it was raining. But the place is so cool though. We also prayed there. There is a big golden stupa. The place that we prayed. We also pray in the temple at the bottom after we prayed upstairs but we were too panic to take the picture that time.
