Why do we have to love dog? (Part IV)

Now, only Yudistira and his black dog left but they made it. They can reached the top of Himalaya and met Lord Indra who will guide them to heaven. Lord Indra asked Yudistira to come into his golden chariot but refused the dog to join them. Lord Indra asked Yudistira to leave the dog behind. But Yudistira refused to go to the heaven without his dog. Lord Indra asked  why did Yudistira could left his wife and brothers behind, without any cremation but could not left the dog for the heaven. Then Yudistira answered. “ I did not leave them, they left me”.

Yudistira’s faith was being tested. Suddently, The dog turn into the real who he is. He is Lord Dharma. He is Yudistira’s father. Both of them hugged each other. Then, they decided to go to heaven together with Lord Indra. After arrived in heaven, something really shocking happened. Yudistira did not see Drupadi and his brothers. He only saw Duryodana and Duryodana’s brothers who have a lot of bad karma. It’s made him confuse why could they be in heaven after what they did. When he asked why Drupadi and his brothers in hell, Lord Indra said, “ they are in hell to pay their bad karma”.

Rather than live in heaven  with kurawa, Yudistira decided to live in hell with Drupadi and his brothers. Then, he went to hell accompanied by Lord Dharma and Lord Indra. When he just entered the hell, he felt so bad to see a lot of people crying and groaning. In that moment, He even thought that he want to run away from hell. But, he changed his mind after see Drupadi and his brothers.  Suddenly, everything changed around them. The hell turned into heaven. Then, Lord Indra smiled. He said “once more, you passed the test”. That was your punishment for your lies about the death of Aswatama”. Ever since, Yudistira, Drupadi and his brothers lived happily in heaven wereas Duryodana and his brothers lived in hell. From this story, we know that we will got what the most we did in the end. If we did good the most then, we will get our good karma after we get our bad karma first.
