Candi Narmada Tanah Kilap Temple

I  always go to this temple with my cousin or my friend when I have a chance. This temple is located in Pamongan, Denpasar regency. It is 30 km from Gianyar, My hometown. This place was built to honor Goddess Ratu Niang Sakti or Ratu Niang Lingsir. This Goddess called Ratu Niang Lingsir, is because she is old. (Lingsir means old; Niang means grandma). This Goddess is believed by Balinese people give us a wealth in life. This Goddess also believed can help us to find our soulmate. I mean, She was believed that she can help us to find our true love. This temple is always visited by a lot of people in Bali. Especially when it comes to Purnama (full moon), Tilem (new moon) or Kajeng Kliwon (Another good day for pray in based on Balinese belief).

There is no Ratu Niang Statue in this temple, so I give you the picture from Campuhan Windhu Segara Temple, so you know what the Goddess look like. This Goddess is the believed as a guardian for Balinese people. That's why, we have her statue in a lot of temple such as In Penataran  Agung Dalem Ped Temple in Nusa Penida, Pulaki Temple in Buleleng, etc. But in Candi Narmada Tanah Kilap, it doesn't has any statue of Ratu Niang Sakti in the main temple. It only has Pratima as a symbol of her.

But, before we pray to the main temple, we have to pray to the Beji Temple, which is located beside the main temple. It has a beautiful view. There is a pond inside with water lily plant inside. Also, a lot of fishes inside the pond. After we prayed in Beji Temple, We also have to prayed to a temple next to Beji temple.

So, After we finished praying to this temple, we prayed to the main temple where Ratu Niang Sakti is. The last one,we prayed to another temple which was built to honor Ratu Gede Mas Mecaling. The Lord that always with Ratu Niang Sakti. This God is always with Ratu Niang Sakti. Whenever Ratu Niang Sakti Temple is, There is always a place for Lord Ratu Gede Mas Mecaling.
